Ability to customize pre-order date format

We would like the ability to customize the date format shown in the pre-order widget description so it matches local conventions. In our case, we need to display dates in a day-month-year format such as DD-MM-YY or DD-MM-YYYY.

This would help our customers understand the expected delivery date correctly and avoid confusion when viewing pre-order information.
