Allow customers to add to wishlist without logging in

The merchant is requesting the ability for customers to add items to their wishlist without needing to create an account or log in. Currently, this functionality is not available in Notify Me, which could create friction for new or casual visitors who want to save products for later.

Enabling a guest mode for wishlisting would provide a smoother and more user-friendly experience, especially for stores that want to reduce barriers to engagement. Ideally, this could work by storing wishlist items locally (e.g., via cookies or local storage) or associating them with an email address at a later point if the customer chooses to log in or create an account.
