Collect subscribers' phone number before purchase

Is there a way for me to be able to collect customers' phone numbers instead of their emails upon purchase? I use SMS marketing. The way I have it set up right now, my customers will receive an email automation that leads them to a form to fill in their phone number, and then I can add it.
