Create Shopify discount code and use Discounty product discounts with manual exclusions

Because Discounty cannot generate codes or dynamically exclude sale items, create the discount code in Shopify (Shopify Discounts). In Discounty, use a Product Discount (or General discount campaign) and manually select which products/variants to include (or explicitly exclude sale items by not selecting them). Maintain those selections manually when sale status changes. Note: Discounty cannot auto-generate codes or auto-exclude products based on sale status.
