The merchant wants to create a discount campaign where customers get 20% off when buying 3 or more best-selling products. However, they need to exclude specific variants that already have a compare-at price. Currently, Discounty can only include or exclude products at the product level using collections, tags, vendors, or product types. Since Shopify does not allow tagging or filtering at the variant level, the merchant cannot achieve their goal without excluding entire products that might still contain eligible variants.
This feature would allow merchants to apply discounts more precisely, ensuring that only the correct variants are included in a campaign while variants already discounted (via compare-at pricing) are excluded. This would prevent customers from stacking discounts on already marked-down items, while still letting merchants run compelling bundle or minimum-quantity offers across mixed variants.
