Pre-order labels and notifications should appear consistently across all sales channels and order items

A merchant reported that pre-order indicators are not consistently displayed across different sales channels and order scenarios, which is causing customer confusion. Specifically, customers purchasing through external channels such as Shop, Facebook, or Instagram are not seeing the messaging that an item is a pre-order during checkout. As a result, customers believe the item is in stock and ready to ship, which leads to confusion and support issues after the order is placed. Additionally, when an order contains multiple pre-order items, the labeling is sometimes inconsistent. For example, one item in the order may display the pre-order label correctly while another item in the same order appears as if it is ready to ship. The merchant would like pre-order indicators and messaging to be applied consistently: - Across all sales channels (Shop, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) - During checkout and order confirmation - For every applicable item in an order This would help ensure customers clearly understand when they are purchasing pre-order items and reduce confusion or disputes after checkout.
