sold out item added to wishlist and then back in stock

I'd like to check; if someone wishlists an item (which is sold out), when I restock the item, do everyone with the item in their wishlist be notified? I think this would be an excellent feature if this isn't already working like this? Can I suggest this feature to be enabled, if possible? I think it's very benefical.
