Supported alternatives: order-tier discounts, bundle SKUs, or custom solution

You cannot implement position-based per-item progressive discounts with an Advanced Discount Code. Supported alternatives you can implement now:

1) Order-tier discounts (code required): Create one Advanced Discount Code and add multiple Order Discount modules with increasing minimum item quantities: e.g. min 1 item → 30% off order, min 2 items → 40% off order, min 3 items → 50% off order. Note: each qualifying tier discounts the entire order, not individual units.

2) Product-based bundles/packs: Create 2-pack and 3-pack SKUs (or bundle products) priced to reflect the desired effective discount, then create Product Discount modules for those SKUs. This makes the discount apply only when customers buy the bundle.

3) Custom app or cart script: If you require true per-unit position-based discounts (first unit X%, second unit Y%, third unit Z%), you'll need a custom solution (Shopify Scripts, custom app, or third-party app that supports sequential/per-unit discounts).

You can require customers to enter a single discount code (Advanced Discount Code supports a single code) for any of the supported alternatives above.
