Sync start / end date of campaign to product metafields

I need to render the campaign duration like "Promoção válida de 2026-02-06 a 2026-02-28." , just a single text, no visual widget, that's why i believe metafields to be the best fit to build around. I need to display discount start /end dates to be compliant with Portuguese laws. Timer widget will not help.
